"In both series, COT and either Aero88 or Truck Series, there will be a Chase Championship. With 10 Races to go in both series, the top 6 in points will be reset to the leader's points. Additionally, 7th - 15th in points will be reset to the 10th place points which will enhance the competition for the 7th place position by years end. There will be 2 champions....the Cup Chase Champion (COT) and the Busch Chase Champion (Aero88 and/or Truck)," said Josparky.

Remember though you must abide by the 3 race no retire rule to qualify for the Chase Championship in either series.

Modification can be made to the format if formally requested as to discuss in Ventrilo.

"I cannot wait until next year's Chase in both series. The competition will go nuts and I cannot wait," says Bgbollin with news of the Chase.

"With the growth of the league and competition emerging from everywhere it just makes it that much more fun to race. The last 10 races may be more intense, but remember you have to place in the top 6 first to get there. It will be alot of fun to see everyone kick it up a knotch in the final 10 races and try and examine the 1st year's response...it will definitely dictate how we test in the offseason."

GOBRL members discussed this idea since the Chase inception, and have finally come to the decision that this will make everyone more excited to race and possibly bring in some old friends or new friends to fulfill a dedicated driver race entry list by 2010.
