We're working very hard to give the COT portion of SCE a fairly big update. Lap times will be much closer to real life, handling and feel are improved quite a bit, tire wear and fall off more realistic, some nice graphic improvements.
Drum roll please - you can touch the apron and not spin out so easily. Also if you get it sideways, it's a lot easier to catch it.
The GNS mod update will be minor. The feel of the car will be slightly improved plus graphic updates and some minor tweaks on the default setups. And yes you can touch the apron and catch the car easier when it gets sideways.
I wish I could comment on the Truck mod but I'm not up to date on it's progress.
